October 30, 2008 No one on earth understands my distress; Nor of my burdens does anyone guess. I, for myself, hardly know my own heart; Scarcely can sort my emotions apart.
Only my God knows the anguish I feel. He is the one unto whom I appeal: Show me the love that from Calvary flows, Healing the sorrows that nobody knows.
Looking to you, my dear Savior, I pray: Take all my shame and confusion away; Help me with troubles beyond my control; Strengthen and comfort and settle my soul.
