A year in God's eternity
Oh was it spent in victory
Did I fulfill Thy will for me
Ord did I fail and drift from Thee?

Ah Lord, I didn't do my best
So much undone - I failed the test
I know my light was weak and dim
And then I even stooped to sin

My child - repentant - come to Me
That I may wash thy sin from thee
Wipe out the past and give to thee
Another chance to follow Me

Another year I give to Thee
To point the lost to Calvary
To live that all can clearly see
Thy holy walk and victory
